Accounts Assistant

We are expanding the Finance Team in the Sydney office based in Wetherill Park and we are looking for a well-rounded and experienced Accounts Assistant to help with the day-to-day finance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Reporting

• Assist with month-end and reporting

• Bank and credit card reconciliations

Accounts Payable:

• Accurate data entry

• Process accounts payable invoices

• Reconcile supplier statements

• Supplier credit applications

• Prepare bank transfers and credit card payments

Payroll:

• Assist with the preparation of the fortnightly payroll

Administrative Support:

• Provide general administrative support, including data entry, and ad-hoc tasks

• Answer internal and external queries professionally

• Liaise with operational staff to resolve queries and support smooth operations

• Collaborate with the finance team on daily activities and special projects

About You:

You’re an enthusiastic, detail-focused team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll bring:

• At least 5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Assistant

• Experience in processing supplier invoices

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft products i.e. excel and word

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
