Commercial Kitchen Exhaust / Hood Cleaning Technician (Night Work)

We are seeking a Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician to join our team servicing restaurants and hospitality venues across Sydney.

This is a hands-on role cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust systems after kitchens close. Experience in kitchen exhaust or commercial cleaning is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Night-shift position

• Work begins after commercial kitchens close

• Travel between multiple sites may be required

• Some weekend or regional work may be required

Applicants must be comfortable working nights on a consistent basis.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning commercial kitchen hoods and canopies

• Cleaning filters, plenums, ductwork and exhaust fans

• Pressure cleaning and applying cleaning chemicals

• Preparing and protecting work areas

• Setting up and packing down equipment

• Taking before-and-after photographs

• Completing basic job reports

• Ensuring work meets quality, safety and compliance standards

• Working as part of a team across multiple sites

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in commercial cleaning or kitchen exhaust, hood or duct cleaning—preferred but not essential

• Comfortable working nights consistently

• Physically fit and able to work in hot, greasy and demanding environments

• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team

• Safety-focused with strong attention to detail

• Able to complete basic job reports and take photographs

A current Australian driver’s licence is preferred.

• $70,000–$90,000 base salary, depending on experience
