Fitter

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at Conveyor Integrated Business Solutions (CIBS) in Perth, WA 6000. This is a full-time position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a leading provider of industrial solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Perform maintenance, repair and installation of industrial machinery, conveyor system skirts, liners, pulleys and gear boxes, pumps, drives etc.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure optimal equipment performance

• Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance activities

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant standards and regulations

• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used

What we're looking for

• Formal trade qualification as a Fitter, Turner or Machinist

• Belt scraper experience preferred

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar industrial maintenance role

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Current driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required

• Travel to customer sites varies by project requirements
