Climbing Arborist

About the role

Arbor Centre is looking for an experienced Qualified Climbing Arborist to join our team. After more than 40 years in business, Arbor Centre has built a reputation as one of Western Australia's most respected arboriculture companies. We work across local government, commercial developments, infrastructure projects and residential clients, delivering everything from complex removals and pruning through to tree relocation, consulting and environmental services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform climbing, pruning and dismantling work across diverse projects

• Work on complex removals and pruning tasks

• Operate or work around excavators, bobcats and stump grinders

• Work independently and assist with mentoring apprentices

• Deliver services across local government, commercial and residential projects

About you

• Certificate III in Arboriculture

• Minimum 3 years' post-apprenticeship climbing experience

• MR Class Driver's Licence (essential)

• EWP Licence (essential)

• Working at Heights certification (essential)

• Experience operating or working around excavators, bobcats and stump grinders

• Strong climbing, pruning and dismantling skills

• Ability to work independently and assist with mentoring apprentices

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to safety

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
