Merimbula-Tura Kindergarten is seeking a passionate and professional Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will support children’s learning, development and wellbeing by creating a safe, nurturing and engaging early learning environment. You will work collaboratively with children, families and colleagues to deliver high-quality educational experiences and contribute positively to our kindergarten community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A recognised Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

• A current NSW Working With Children Check

• Current First Aid and CPR certifications

• Completed Child Protection Training

• Completed Advanced Child Safe Training modules

• A genuine passion for early childhood education

• Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills

• A professional, caring and child-centred approach

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences

• Support children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development

• Build respectful and positive relationships with children and families

• Observe, document and extend children’s learning

• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment

• Work collaboratively with the educational team

• Follow all relevant policies, procedures and child safety requirements

• Contribute to continuous improvement and the kindergarten’s educational program
