Join our dedicated team as a Contact Centre Representative and make a difference at RSPCA NSW!

Location: Remote, with occasional on-site days, training sessions, one-on-one coaching and quality assurance activities to support knowledge development and service quality. This role is based in NSW and requires availability to work Monday to Friday, from 12:15 pm to 5:15 pm.

Department: Animal Operations and Fundraising

RSPCA NSW is seeking compassionate individuals to deliver empathetic customer service across a range of queries, from animal cruelty reports to crisis support. Our commitment to a safe work environment includes training, consultations, and more.

• Animal Welfare: Handle reports of alleged animal cruelty, ensuring urgent matters are escalated appropriately.
• Customer Service: Provide high-quality advice on RSPCA NSW services while building rapport with callers.
• Operations: Manage high-volume multi-channel communications and maintain service standards.
• Administration: Ensure data accuracy and compliance with organisational standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Completion of a nationally recognised qualification in customer service, community services, or animal welfare (desirable)
• Mental health first aid training or trauma-informed care awareness (highly regarded)
• Experience in a high-volume contact centre or customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication, emotional resilience, and judgement.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and ability to handle sensitive information.
