The recruiter is responsible for attracting and enrolling prospective international students, including managing inquiries, conducting interviews, and guiding applicants through admission and visa processes. Day-to-day activities include building and maintaining relationships with education agents, and other partners, representing Group Institute Australia at fairs and information sessions, and preparing recruitment materials and presentations. The role involves monitoring application pipelines, maintaining accurate records in recruitment systems, and providing timely, culturally sensitive support and advice to prospective students and their families. The recruiter collaborates closely with admissions, marketing, and student support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and a positive pre-arrival experience.QualificationsExperience in international student recruitment, admissions, or education consulting, with strong understanding of international education pathways and student decision-making processes.Knowledge of Australian education systems and regulatory requirements (e.g., ESOS, CRICOS), and familiarity with student visa processes and compliance considerations.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present to groups, build relationships with diverse stakeholders, and provide clear guidance to prospective students.Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads, track applications, and meet recruitment targets and deadlines.Comfort with using CRM or student management systems, standard office software, and online communication tools for virtual meetings and events.Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to support students from varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.Ability to work collaboratively within a team, respond proactively to challenges, and adapt to changing recruitment strategies and market conditions.Relevant qualification in education, business, marketing, international relations, or a related field; equivalent work experience in international education is highly regarded.Prior experience working in an RTO, college, or university environment is advantageous.Willingness to occasionally travel for recruitment events and to work flexible hours during peak recruitment periods.
