Accounts Payable Officer

Join our Finance team and help support the financial operations behind one of Australia’s fastest-growing retail brands. We’re looking for a detail-focused and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join a busy finance team on a short-term temporary assignment.

This is an immediate starting role on a 2-4 month contract

THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a busy finance team on a short-term temporary assignment. This is an urgent requirement supporting a high-volume invoice-processing backlog from a system changeover.
A proven, hands-on background processing invoices in is essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

·         High-volume creditor invoice processing, and data entry

·         Three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts and invoices

·         Investigating discrepancies, missing invoices and open purchase orders

·         Supplier statement reconciliations and responding to creditor queries

·         Supporting payment runs, month-end activities and accurate AP records

To succeed, you will bring:

·         Demonstrated Accounts Payable experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

·         Processing experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, will be highly regarded

·         Experience with three-way matching

·         Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

·         Immediate availability to commence

This temporary contract will run for a minimum of 2 months and up to 4 months. Ideally, you will be available full-time, working either 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm. However, school-hours availability will be considered for an exceptional candidate.
