Business Services Accountant | $90K-$110K + Super

The role

Working as part of our Business Services team, you'll be responsible for a portfolio of privately owned businesses and individuals.

Depending on your experience, your work will include:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns

• Companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals

• BAS and GST matters

• Tax planning and year-end strategies

• Management reporting and business advisory work

• Assisting clients with day-to-day taxation and business matters

• Liaising directly with clients

• Working with senior accountants and partners on more complex assignments

• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has approximately 2–5 years' Australian public-practice accounting experience

• Has experience preparing financial statements and Australian income tax returns

• Has a relevant accounting or commerce degree

• Is studying towards, or has completed, CA or CPA

• Communicates well and is comfortable dealing with clients

• Takes pride in producing high-quality work

• Is organised, reliable and able to manage deadlines

• Enjoys being part of a team

• Wants to continue learning and progressing professionally
