About the role
The RoleA Private Wealth Assistant provides administrative and client service support to a team of Private Wealth Advisers and acts as a central point of contact for client enquiries. This role will particularly suit someone with experience in financial planning, paraplanning or advice support who is looking to broaden their exposure across investment markets, portfolio administration and private wealth management.
As an Assistant, you will play a key role in implementing strategic advice, coordinating client interactions, and supporting advisers to deliver an exceptional client experience. You will also develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, ensuring key information is gathered and documentation remains accurate and up to date.
This role will be appointed on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis to cover a maternity leave period.

About YouTo succeed in this role, you will ideally possess:Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline (preferred)Previous experience supporting Financial Advisers, Financial Planners or Private Wealth AdvisersExperience implementing financial planning strategies and preparing documentation associated with Statements of Advice (SOAs)Understanding of financial planning, superannuation, investments, insurance and wealth management conceptsStrong client service and relationship management skillsDatabase and client management system experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and OutlookKaplan Professional Diploma, RG146, or equivalent financial services qualification (advantageous)Experience in financial planning, wealth management, stockbroking or broader financial services (advantageous)
