We’re looking for confident, motivated and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisors to support our operations across six different outlets.

This isn’t a role where you simply stand back and delegate. Our Supervisors are part of the operation — leading the team on the floor, supporting the kitchen when required, maintaining standards and making sure the shift runs smoothly from start to finish.

As a Supervisor, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of your shift and support both Front of House and Back of House teams.

Your responsibilities may include:

Leadership & Operations

• Leading and motivating team members throughout the shift

• Allocating team members effectively across the operation

• Coordinating service during busy periods

• Taking ownership of the shift and responding to operational issues

• Supporting opening and closing procedures

• Ensuring smooth handovers between shifts

• Training, coaching and supporting team members

• Leading by example and jumping into the operation wherever required

Front of House

• Maintaining high standards of customer service

• Supporting the team with orders, POS and food and beverage service

• Assisting with coffee and beverage preparation where required

• Handling customer concerns professionally

• Maintaining presentation and cleanliness standards

• Ensuring customers are served efficiently during peak periods

Back of House

• Supporting food preparation and kitchen operations

• Monitoring food quality and presentation

• Ensuring food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures are followed

• Monitoring stock levels and product availability

• Supporting stock rotation and replenishment

• Helping control wastage

• Ensuring kitchen, storage and operational areas remain clean and organised

We're looking for Supervisors who are comfortable taking responsibility for their shift.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in hospitality, QSR, restaurants, cafés or food & beverage operations

• Previous supervisory, shift leader or team leader experience

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Confidence leading a team in a busy environment

• A hands-on leadership style

• Strong customer service standards

• Good understanding of food safety, cleanliness and operational standards

• The ability to prioritise and make decisions under pressure

• Strong reliability and punctuality

• A willingness to work across both Front of House and Back of House

• A positive approach to coaching and developing team members

Most importantly, we're looking for people who take ownership.

When you're running a shift, you'll be expected to understand what's happening across the operation, support your team, identify problems early and take action to keep service running smoothly.

Gold Coast Airport operates 7 days a week, with shifts available between 3:00am and 10:00pm.

We have Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.

Due to the nature of the Supervisor position, flexible availability across the operating week is essential, including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Due to some of our early starts and late finishes, you will need to have reliable transport to and from Gold Coast Airport, including at times when public transport may be limited.

Successful applicants will also need to meet relevant airport security and access requirements.

Pay rates and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable Award, including relevant penalty rates and allowances where applicable.
