State Administrative Support Officer, Event Health Services

At St John Ambulance Queensland, our Event Health Services (EHS) team relies on skilled administrators who keep everything running smoothly—from coordinating event operations to supporting our volunteers and frontline teams.

We're looking for an organised, proactive State Administrative Support Officer who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a purpose-driven organisation that makes a real difference across Queensland.

What You’ll Be Doing

You'll provide administrative support across a range of EHS activities, including event coordination, volunteer onboarding, credentialling, records management and operational logistics.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating event bookings, customer enquiries and weekly event briefs.
• Managing shared inboxes, documentation and medical records.
• Supporting volunteer onboarding and credentialling processes.
• Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and following up on actions.
• Assisting with uniforms, equipment, logistics and event support.
• Providing administrative support to Regional Leads and Hub Leaders across Queensland.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous administration experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• A collaborative, customer-focused approach
• A current Provide First Aid and CPR certificate (or the ability to obtain one) 
• A current Blue Card – Working with Children (or the ability to obtain one) 
• A current Criminal History Check (or the ability to obtain one) 
• A current Open C Class Drivers Licence
