The Opportunity

If you enjoy turning trusted HSE data into meaningful insights, improving digital systems and supporting leaders to make informed, risk-based decisions, this is a great opportunity to join ElectraNet as our Health, Safety & Environment System Improvement & Reporting specialist.

In this role, you'll drive continuous improvement across ElectraNet's HSE systems, data governance, analytics and reporting. Working closely with HSE leadership, Technology and key stakeholders, you'll help optimise digital workflows, strengthen data quality and translate complex HSE and risk information into clear reporting for senior leaders, EMT and the Board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the optimisation and integration of HSE management systems, digital workflows and reporting processes aligned to HSE strategy and governance requirements.
• Establish and maintain HSE data governance practices, ensuring data quality, accuracy and integrity across systems and reporting outputs.
• Analyse HSE and risk data to identify trends, insights, anomalies and reporting risks, linking performance to material risks, critical controls and assurance outcomes.
• Prepare clear, decision-grade HSE reports, dashboards, commentary and briefing materials for senior leadership, EMT and Board audiences.

About You

You're an analytical and improvement-focused HSE professional who enjoys working with systems, data and stakeholders to create practical, high-quality reporting. You bring strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to translate complex information into clear insights that support better decisions and improved safety outcomes.

What you'll bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in OHS, Risk, Data, Engineering, Business Analytics or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years' experience in HSE systems, digital improvement, analytics, reporting or related HSE and risk roles, within high-risk environments such as electricity, infrastructure, oil & gas, mining or similar industries.
• Experience implementing, optimising or governing digital HSE systems, data frameworks, dashboards and reporting processes.
• Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and translate findings into executive-level insights and actionable recommendations.
• Strong reporting and communication skills, experience preparing reports, presentations or briefing materials for senior leadership, executive or Board audiences.
• High proficiency with Excel and Power BI, or equivalent business intelligence tools, and experience using HSE management systems such as SAP EHS, Intelex or similar.
• Understanding of HSE metrics, leading and lagging indicators, risk frameworks, critical control management and assurance models, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 31000.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and change management skills, with the ability to support adoption of new systems, tools and reporting practices.
