About the Role

Reporting to the Butchery Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing, cutting, trimming, boning and portioning a wide range of premium meat products.
• Producing attractive, well-presented displays that reflect Boatshed Market's high standards.
• Providing outstanding customer service and expert product advice.
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Managing stock rotation and minimising waste.
• Working collaboratively with the wider fresh food team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a qualified butcher in a retail or premium butchery environment.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat preparation and presentation.
• A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• A positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work weekends and a rotating roster.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
