AV & Hospitality Technician

About the role

As an AV & Hospitality Concierge Support Specialist, you will work within a corporate client environment, helping ensure meeting rooms, technology and hospitality services are ready and presented to a consistently high standard. This dual-focused role ensures that AV in meeting spaces operate flawlessly while simultaneously providing a premium, welcoming concierge experience for employees and high-profile clients. You will serve as the primary face of corporate hospitality and the first line of defense for critical AV technology. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role combining audio visual support with corporate hospitality and technology concierge services.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, test and provide first-line support for Audio Visual systems used for corporate meetings, presentations and events

• Proactively check meeting rooms to ensure technology is operational and rooms are ready for use

• Provide technology concierge support to clients, guests and visitors, assisting with meeting-room technology and resolving AV issues

• Identify, record and escalate AV faults or service issues and follow through to resolution

• Assist with connectivity requirements where appropriate

• Provide corporate hospitality support, including preparing and serving refreshments

• Maintain the tidiness, presentation, and supply levels of all collaborative spaces and meeting rooms throughout the day

• Welcome external clients, visitors, and executives with a premium, professional hospitality experience

• Work collaboratively with CTS colleagues and client onsite teams such as catering, IT and facilities to help deliver a seamless meeting and workplace experience

About you

• Proven experience supporting AV systems and familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) ecosystems is an advantage

• Basic understanding of AV routing, digital signal processors (DSPs), and AV networking fundamentals

• Experience utilising ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) to log and track technology incidents

• Exceptional customer service, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Ability to remain calm, professional, and resourceful in high-pressure executive environments

• Hospitality experience with barista experience highly regarded

• A proactive mindset — you notice when a room, piece of technology or customer needs attention rather than waiting to be asked

• Well-developed time management and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail

• Expertise in collaboration and building trust with a varied range of clients, colleagues and stakeholders
