The OpportunityWe're looking for an inspiring and commercially driven Area Manager to lead our network of stores across New South Wales, Queensland and New Zealand.
Based in our Sydney Head Office, this leadership role oversees 7 stores with an exciting expansion to 8 stores on the horizon. You'll partner closely with Store Managers to drive sales performance, develop exceptional teams, elevate the customer experience, and bring the Michael Kors brand vision to life across multiple markets.

What You'll Be DoingDrive sales, profitability, and KPI performance across your region.
Identify opportunities, analyse business trends, and implement action plans that deliver results.
Partner with the Senior Commercial Manager to maximise conversion, stock productivity, labour efficiency, and category performance.
Inspire, coach, and develop Store Managers to lead high-performing teams.
Build a strong talent pipeline through succession planning, development, and ongoing mentorship.
Create a culture of accountability, engagement, and exceptional customer service.
Champion the Michael Kors customer journey and luxury service standards.
Drive clienteling initiatives and support impactful in-store events.
Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising and brand standards across all locations.
Maintain excellence in store operations, inventory management, shrinkage control, and compliance.
Conduct regular store visits across NSW, Queensland, and New Zealand to support teams and drive performance.
Manage regional budgets, workforce planning, and operational costs.
Foster a safe working environment by championing Work Health & Safety standards and company policies.
Minimum 3 years' experience leading multiple retail stores or regions, ideally within luxury, premium, fashion, or outlet retail environments.
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving sales growth and operational excellence.
Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing leaders.
Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
A customer first mindset with a passion for delivering premium experiences.
Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across a diverse region.
Strong proficiency across POS systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
Flexibility to travel regularly across Australia and New Zealand.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, or a related discipline preferred.
