Accountant Required

Prestigious strata management company, with a focus on client accounting and financial solutions is looking for an exceptional accountant to join their team.  Based in the CBD, with a great work environment, you will be looking after a portfolio of clients with high levels of stake holder communication and engagement.

McCormacks Strata Management is a prestigious strata management company based in the Sydney CBD, servicing clients across the Sydney Metropolitan area.

Our finance team values are built around a commitment to our clients, which will form a significant part of the role offered.

The accountant role available in our finance team will be responsible for:

• Take charge of a portfolio of 30+ Strata Plans within our client base

• Proactive finance communication with internal Strata Managers

• Proactive finance communication with external stakeholders, specifically Building Managers and Treasurers

• Control of the end to end financial solution to each client portfolio

• Daily reconciliation of client accounts

• Verification of invoices for payment

• Monitoring, reviewing, and forecasting cash flow requirements for each portfolio

• Preparation of month end reporting for each client

• Preparation of quarterly BAS and GST requirements for each client

• Annual financial report preparation

• Proactive engagement with Auditors specific to your portfolios

• Prepare audit file for annual compliance requirements

• Preparation of annual tax return 

Our ideal candidate has the following attributes:

• CPA/CA qualified

• A business services background with min 5 years in public practice

• Strong customer service focus

• Proactive and solution focused mentality

• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines

• Strong ability and understanding of Microsoft Excel

• Strata Max experience highly valued but not essential
