Trade Sales Representative

Due to continued growth across operations and branches, a new position is being offered to join our team located in Wetherill Park, Sydney.

About the role

As a trade sales representative, you will be reporting to the Site Manager and working as part of a small in-branch team. You will enjoy a mix of face-to-face customer contact in addition to phone, email, and light warehouse duties. You will need to be driven to hit targets and KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Face-to-face customer service for walk-in trade and retail customers

• Managing phone and email enquiries and order taking

• Data entry of orders and customer follow-ups

• Building existing client relationships through regular contact and follow-up

• Making outbound calls to establish new client relationships

• Lead validation and research

• Light warehouse duties including unloading stock and packing orders

• Assisting customers with product knowledge and information
  

About you

• Good with people and well versed in face-to-face customer service with a great telephone manner

• Ability to build relationships and close deals

• An unwavering drive to succeed and smash targets

• An open mindset willing to be developed for greater success

• Previous customer service experience

• Sales, quoting and trade experience are highly regarded

• Proficient computer skills including Outlook, Internet and CRM

• Enthusiastic and helpful nature

• Reliable and trustworthy

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team

• Current driver's licence for occasional travel between branches

• Forklift licence a plus, but not required
