Tradesman / Labourer - Coolroom Installation

About the role

We are looking for a Tradesperson, Trade Assistant or experienced Construction Worker/Labourer to join our installation team. You will be trained in the prefabrication, building and installation of coolrooms and insulated panel structures. This is a full-time position, with the opportunity for a permanent position following a 6-month probation period.

Key responsibilities

• Prefabricating insulated panel components

• Building and installing coolrooms, freezers and insulated structures

• Using a range of hand and power tools

• Measuring, cutting, assembling and fitting panels and components

• Working on commercial construction sites throughout NSW and occasionally the ACT

• Working as part of a small team to complete projects safely and efficiently

• Loading, unloading and handling materials and equipment

• Following all company procedures and WHS requirements

About you

• Minimum 1 year of construction or relevant trade experience

• Experience using hand and power tools

• A current NSW Driver's Licence

• Your own reliable vehicle

• A current WHS White Card

• Good understanding of current WHS/OH&S requirements

• Good practical skills and a willingness to learn

• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Recent, contactable references

We have over 30 years' experience in the insulated panel industry and work with a range of major commercial clients across supermarket, hospitality, retail, food processing, cold storage and other industries.
