Urgent Care Nurse - Registered Nurse

Beeliar Medicare Urgent Care Clinic is currently seeking Casual Registered Nurses to join our Medicare Urgent Care Clinic team in Beeliar. Our clinic operates in a modern, state-of-the-art medical Centre and provides high-quality urgent care services to the local community.

We are looking for a friendly, efficient, and adaptable Registered Nurse who enjoys role variety and thrives in a fast-paced, professional clinical environment.

These are casual roles requiring flexibility to cover a range of shifts, including weekdays, afternoons, and rotating weekend hours. Our Urgent Care Clinic operates:

7 days a week

7:00am – 9:00pm (weekdays)

7:00am – 7:00pm (weekends and public holidays)

Skills & Experience:
Previous experience working in a general practice, urgent care facility or ED is essential
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Strong communication and time management skills
A caring and collaborative approach to patient care and services
Best Practice knowledge or any other clinical software preferred but not essential.
Ability to multi-task and show attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team
Dedicated and enthusiastic work ethic
Experience and training in childhood and adult vaccinations
Bright, engaging and confident personality

The successful applicants will assist with the smooth operation of Urgent Care.

Registered Nurse (Urgent Care Clinic) Duties:
Triaging patients and coordinating care
Performing comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments
Treatment of a variety of presentations of adults and pediatric patients: including, but not limited to, Injuries, Burns, UTI's, STI's, Infections, Respiratory conditions, Fractures, Chemical exposures
First line treatment for medical emergencies
Assisting the doctors with procedures
IV medication administration

Essential Experience: 
Minimum 2 years of experience in Acute setting
BLS certification 
Performing ECG's
IV Insertion
Burns Management/Dressings
Wound Management

Desirable Experience: 
ALS certification
Splinting/Plastering/Immobilisation
ECG Interpretation
Suturing/Applying wound adhesive
PV Examination 
Pediatric experience
