Applicants can expect to join an industry-leading organization that values expertise, problem-solving, and reliable support for customers.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in the Greater Adelaide Area. The Salesperson will engage customers in-store, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate solutions across GPS navigation, radio communication, reversing cameras, satellite communications, and related products. Daily tasks include greeting and advising customers, preparing quotes, processing sales, and coordinating with the technical team for installations, service, and repairs. The role involves maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, demonstrating equipment, and supporting trade and commercial clients with more complex requirements. The Salesperson will also assist with merchandising, stock checks, and occasional follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and ongoing support.QualificationsStrong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and explain technical products clearly.Sales and negotiation skills, including experience in retail or trade sales and confidence in closing opportunities.Basic technical understanding or strong interest in GPS systems, radio communication, satellite phones, and related electronics is desirable but not essential. We will provide all product training.Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple customer inquiries, quotations, and follow-ups efficiently.Ability to collaborate effectively with technicians and colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications for orders, inventory, and customer records.Previous experience in electronics, communications, automotive accessories, or a similar industry is highly regarded.Reliable, proactive work approach and willingness to learn and develop deeper product and industry knowledge.Availability to work standard retail hours, including weekends as required.What we're looking forPositive, friendly, pro-active person with a willingness to give everything a go attitude.Strong communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse customer base and build rapport.A willingness to develop product knowledge and embrace personal development.Enthusiasm for Radio communications, 4WD accessories, off-road vehicles or outdoor recreation and delivering customer satisfaction.Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and initiative.Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work retail hours including Saturday mornings.Physical capability to lift, carry and handle merchandise safely.Relevant qualifications in retail, sales or customer service are advantageous but not essential if you possess strong transferable skills
