Reports To: Operations Manager 

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant & Delivery Driver to join our team. This dual-role position involves supporting daily warehouse operations while also completing local deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate is organized, physically fit, customer-focused, and holds a valid C – Class driver’s licence.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming stock and deliveries

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization

• Conduct stock checks and assist with inventory control

• Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if licensed)

• Label and store products correctly

• Follow workplace health and safety procedures

Delivery Driver Duties

• Able to drive van in busy areas and willing to travel to NSW regional areas 

• Deliver goods to customers and clients safely and efficiently

• Load and unload delivery vehicles

• Obtain proof of delivery and maintain delivery records

• Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance issues

• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse or delivery driving experience preferred

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record

• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential

• May require Police check for some customers

• Willing to be vaccinated if required 

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Strong attention to detail and time management

• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours when required

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices

• Basic computer skills are an advantage
