Technical Lead - Digital Measurement and CDP

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Technical Lead to drive the evolution of Bupa's digital measurement, customer data platform (CDP), and audience activation capabilities.Working within the Digital CDP & Solution Engineering team, you'll provide technical leadership across digital analytics, tagging, customer data, enterprise integrations, automation, and emerging AI-enabled delivery practices. This is a highly influential role that sits at the intersection of digital analytics, software engineering, customer data, and enterprise platforms.You'll play a key role in shaping the future of Bupa's customer data ecosystem, leading major initiatives including enterprise data integrations, platform modernisation, automation capabilities, and AI-assisted delivery solutions. Working closely with architects, engineers, enterprise data teams, analytics specialists, marketers, and business stakeholders, you'll help ensure Bupa's digital data capabilities remain scalable, reliable, and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation, optimisation, governance, and ongoing evolution of Bupa's digital measurement and customer data platform capabilities.Act as the technical authority for tagging, tracking, audience activation, and digital data collection frameworks.Design and deliver integrations across CDP platforms, analytics tools, CRM systems, marketing technology, APIs, and enterprise data platforms.Define and enhance the technical architecture supporting digital analytics, personalisation, and customer data initiatives.Partner with enterprise data teams to connect behavioural, customer, and audience data across the broader ecosystem.Drive automation of implementation, testing, validation, and deployment processes through modern engineering practices and tooling.Evaluate and leverage AI-assisted development approaches, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies to improve delivery outcomes.Champion strong data governance, quality, and compliance practices across digital data platforms.Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance across the team, lifting capability and supporting successful project delivery.Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, analytics, marketing, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring a strong blend of technical leadership, digital analytics expertise, and enterprise integration experience.
Extensive hands-on experience with Tealium iQ and enterprise tag management implementations.Deep experience delivering web and app analytics implementations within complex enterprise environments.Strong Customer Data Platform (CDP) experience, including audience management, personalisation, activation, and platform integration.Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale data integration solutions and digital data architectures.Knowledge of JavaScript, digital measurement frameworks, and data layer architecture.Experience working with engineering, architecture, analytics, automation, and data teams.Previous leadership experience in roles such as Technical Lead, Digital Analytics Lead, Digital Analytics Manager, Analytics Manager, or similar.Exposure to AI-enabled solutions, intelligent automation, or AI-assisted delivery practices.A growth mindset, strong problem-solving capability, and the ability to thrive in a changing and evolving technology landscape Why Work with Bupa
