Field Service Technician

At CJD Equipment, we're looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our Brisbane team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of your work, manage your day with a high level of autonomy, and work on industry-leading Volvo Construction Equipment.

Every day is different. From scheduled maintenance to diagnosing complex faults and getting machines back to work, you'll be trusted to deliver exceptional service while building strong relationships with our customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on construction and earthmoving equipment

• Breakdown and emergency repair work

• Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

• Customer liaison and service bookings

• Accurate completion of service documentation

• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

• Delivering high-quality workmanship with minimal supervision

What you'll bring:

• A relevant trade qualification

• Experience working on construction, earthmoving or heavy equipment

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Experience using computer-based diagnostic systems and parts catalogues

• Good planning, organisational and time management skills

• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• A willingness to travel and stay overnight when required

While not essential, the following will be highly regarded:

• Volvo Construction Equipment experience

• LR or MR Vehicle Licence

• Air Conditioning Handling Licence
