FIFO Site Supervisor - Go West

Go West Tours are seeking a motivated Site Supervisor to join their Pilbara team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, ensuring the efficient operation of there depot while maintaining Go West’s strategic and business objectives.

About the role:

As a site supervisor you will be responsible for providing support to ensure the site operates at full capacity through effective planning, directing, and coordinating transportation operations. The role also involves advising and assisting employees to maintain a productive, efficient, and safe work environment while ensuring compliance with Western Australian Health and Safety Standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Supervising daily bussing movements including shift changes and site transfers
• Coordinating drivers, vehicles, and resources to meet fluctuating site demands
• Running pre-starts and shift handovers, checking attendance, compliance, and readiness
• Driving a strong safety culture by conducting Take Time Talks, Planned Task Observations and supporting Critical Control Verifications.
• Maintaining a visible field presence throughout your swing
• Managing fatigue compliance, journey management, and other critical risk controls specific to bussing operations
• Handling breakdowns, delays, and unplanned changes in real time, liaising with the Operations Manager as needed
• Coaching and managing driver performance and conduct day-to-day, and supporting new and existing drivers
• Conducting fleet checks and liaising with maintenance on defects and servicing
• Acting as the on-site point of contact for the client, managing feedback and escalating issues promptly

About you:

• Supervisory or team leadership experience in bussing, transport, logistics, or another safety-critical, high-tempo environment
• FIFO or remote site experience highly regarded
• Cert IV in leadership & management
• A genuine understanding of fatigue management and journey management requirements
• Current C-Class licence (essential); MR licence, PTD, First Aid
• Tier 1 resources or mining operations experience
• A leadership style that's hands-on, approachable, and safety-focused
