Cath Lab Registered Nurse | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

MAYDAY Healthcare is proud to be partnering with a leading private hospital in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs to recruit experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurses to join their established Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and Hybrid Lab team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing multidisciplinary environment alongside experienced cardiologists, nurses, radiographers and cardiac technicians. With three cath labs and plans for further expansion, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cath Lab nurse looking to join a busy service with genuine opportunities for development and progression.

You’ll be joining a busy Cardiac Cath Lab team providing a comprehensive range of cardiac and vascular services, including:

• Coronary angiograms
• PCI / angioplasty
• TAVI
• Balloon valvuloplasty
• Pacemaker insertion
• Electrophysiology
• Vascular procedures
• Interventional radiology

The team is looking for experienced Scrub/Scout Nurses who can confidently step into a busy environment and hit the ground running. Experience across PCI, IVUS/IVAS and FFR will be highly regarded.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care across a broad range of cardiac and vascular procedures.

The role will involve:

• Working as a Scrub and/or Scout Nurse within the Cath Lab and Hybrid Lab
• Supporting complex cardiac and vascular procedures
• Providing high-quality patient care throughout the procedural journey
• Working closely with cardiologists, radiographers, cardiac technicians and nursing colleagues
• Maintaining high clinical standards within a fast-paced environment
• Contributing to a collaborative team culture and supporting junior staff

The service operates Monday–Friday, with a range of rostered shifts available. 10-hour shifts across 4 days can also be accommodated.

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with:

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 3 years' Registered Nursing experience within a Cath Lab environment
• Strong Scrub and/or Scout experience
• Confidence working in a busy Cardiac Cath Lab
• Experience with PCI, IVUS/IVAS and/or FFR highly regarded
• ICU/Critical Care experience desirable but not essential
• Strong clinical skills and a genuine passion for patient care
• The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
