Strata / Landlords Claims Specialist

Summary

As Claims Specialist for Hutch, you’ll leverage our advanced technology to offer market leading claims service levels to our brokers and clients.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Claims, you’ll have responsibility for handing claims from lodgment through assessment to payment including:

• Initial contact after claim lodgment
• Desktop assessment of smaller claims
• Appointment of loss adjusters and panel repairers
• Processing claims within SLA timeframes
• Deliver extraordinary levels of service that delight our brokers & their clients
• Work with management and underwriters to feedback on claims trends

Qualifications & Experience

You’ve been handling Strata or Landlords claims for two years or more.

You fell into insurance after a brief but unfulfilling stint in another industry.

You see the opportunity to transform insurance with tech, and don’t want to spend another minute of your day doing pointless admin.

You’re detail orientated and like technical insurance work, including all the nerdy twists and turns of policies, compliance and legislation.

You have the ability to work under pressure.
