About The Role

We are seeking experienced Special Class Welders (structural welding) to join our team on a major shipbuilding program. This is an exciting chance to contribute to Australia's defence capability while enjoying excellent conditions, great pay rates, and long-term project security.

About You

Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent ResidentSpecial Class Welder qualifications and experience in structural weldingSkilled in high-integrity welding to a minimum of AS 1554.1 standardsMust be willing to undergo a medical assessment and provide a clear Federal Police CheckMust pass a welding test prior to acceptance into the roleSafety-focusedReliableRecognised Welder Qualification certificate at current organisation in FCAW / MCAW processes preferred for steelSkilled in welding to shipbuilding classification standardsExperience using semi-automated weld tractors
