Holy Spirit Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), Bray Park is looking for a passionate and experienced educator to join our team as Assistant Coordinator.

This permanent part-time role (28 hours per week, Monday to Friday, split shifts) supports the coordinator with the day-to-day operations of the service while helping create a safe, engaging and welcoming environment where children can learn, play and belong.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:

Program planning, delivery, and documentationStaff rostering and supervisionAssist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational programProvide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environmentWork collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and familiesConsent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the coordinator.

What You’ll Need

Diploma in Children Services or ACECQA EquivalentPrevious experience in the education and care of children in a similar role.Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/AnaphylaxisChild Protection Training is a requirement of this role.Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/RegulationsEffective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
