Site Supervisor - Residential Construction

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, Allaro Homes is seeking an experienced Residential Site Supervisor to join our Cairns construction team.

We are looking for someone who knows residential construction, can confidently manage multiple builds and takes ownership of their sites from commencement through to handover.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of residential builds across Cairns and surrounding areas, including:

• Managing multiple residential builds from commencement through to Practical Completion

• Programming and coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers

• Ensuring projects remain on schedule and identifying potential delays early

• Monitoring workmanship, quality and compliance with plans and specifications

• Reviewing plans, work orders and construction documentation

• Working closely with our Estimating and Drafting teams to resolve issues before they impact construction

• Managing subcontractor performance and rectification of defects

• Maintaining accurate site records, photos and construction updates

• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, trades, suppliers and our internal team

• Ensuring WHS requirements are maintained across all sites

About You

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence

• A current Construction White Card

• Proven experience supervising residential construction projects

• Strong knowledge of residential construction and building methodology

• The ability to read and understand plans, engineering documentation and work orders

• Excellent organisational and programming skills

• The ability to confidently manage multiple projects and subcontractors

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions on site

• Good computer skills and experience with construction management software

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• A current driver's licence
