ALUMINIUM FABRICATOR / WELDER

We are seeking an experienced Aluminium Fabricator / Welder to join our highly skilled team at Howarth's Sheet Metal Fabrications Pty Ltd. This fulltime position is based in our workshop in Clontarf, Queensland.  The successful candidate will play a vital role in the production and assembly of high-quality fabricated metal products for our diverse range of commercial and industrial clients.

Your Tasks :

• Read and interpret drawings to fabricate components to specification

• Operate welding equipment using MIG, TIG welding techniques

• Carry out metal cutting, forming, fitting and finishing processes using a variety of hand and power tools

• Assemble, fit and finish fabricated metal components and products 

• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting quality and safety requirements

We are looking for : 

• Minimum 3 years' experience Aluminium Fabrication

• Strong proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding techniques

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams and documentation

• Knowledge of Metal Fabrication processes including cutting, bending, forming and fitting

• Commitment to quality with excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work both as part of a Team and Autonomously to meet production deadlines

• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
