This is a pivotal opportunity for a career minded finance leader to take ownership of the finance function and play a central role in shaping the financial performance and future direction of the business. As trusted adviser to the MD and board.
With responsibility spanning financial governance, reporting and compliance, you will lead a broad range of critical finance activities, including payroll, credit control, accounts payable, insurance administration and statutory obligations. You’ll ensure the business has the accurate, timely and insightful financial information needed to make confident decisions.
Working closely with teams across the factory, administration, support functions and senior leadership, you’ll be far more than a technical finance leader. You’ll act as a trusted business partner, driving continuous improvement, strengthening processes and controls, identifying opportunities to enhance performance and providing the commercial insight that supports strategic and operational decision-making across the business.
About youCA/CPA qualified FC or experienced FMStrong experience in managing controls and governanceDemonstrated success leading and retaining small teamsHave experience in a comparable operationally driven business such as manufacturing, FMCG or logistics. With understanding of transactional flows and systems that support it (such as scanning, stock, wastage etc.)Commercially minded with a practical approach to problem-solvingStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, particularly with diverse demographics including operational, administrative through to board level
