Apprentice Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Safetytech Fire Services is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Fire Sprinkler Fitting Apprentice.

This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the fire protection industry, learning the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire protection systems such as fire sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, and fire pumps across commercial and industrial sites.

You will work alongside experienced fire protection plumbers and sprinkler fitters, gaining hands-on experience while completing your formal trade training.

• Assist with the installation of fire sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, and associated pipework
• Support maintenance and servicing of fire protection systems on commercial buildings
• Learn to read and interpret fire protection drawings and technical diagrams
• Gain hands-on experience using specialised plumbing and fire protection tools and equipment
• Participate in on-the-job training and complete your plumbing/fire protection qualification
• Work collaboratively with experienced sprinkler fitters, plumbers, and project managers
• Follow workplace health, safety, and Australian fire protection standards

• Strong interest in pursuing a career in the fire protection industry
• Willingness to learn and develop practical trade skills
• Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving ability
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

Preferred but not essential:
• White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Driver’s licence
• Previous experience in construction or trade environments

We do 2-3 weeks paid trial before we onboard you as a official apprentice because we want to allow the time for you to access your fit in the company, and also for the company to assess your fit for our culture and environment.
