Plant Assistant - Concrete

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Plant Assistant to join our Artarmon Concrete team on a permanent full-time basis. Working Monday to Saturday, you will play a key role in supporting our concrete operations, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials, equipment and site activities.

As a Plant Assistant, you will be responsible for:

Safely operating plant and equipment including Front End Loader, Forklift, Bobcat and other machineryReceiving, unloading and receipting deliveriesMaterial handling and stock managementConducting routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipmentMaintaining a clean, safe and efficient work environmentProviding high-quality service to both internal and external customersContributing to a positive team culture and supporting daily production activities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

A strong commitment to workplace health and safetyFront End Loader, Bobcat and Forklift licences (highly regarded but not essential)Experience working in a production, manufacturing or industrial environment (desirable)A proactive approach and ability to work effectively as part of a teamStrong customer service and communication skillsReliability and flexibility to work every SaturdayA willingness to learn, develop new skills and build a long-term career with Boral
