About the role
Rothwell Kids Early Learning Centre is a beautiful, homely centre catering for up to 94 children per day, aged from six weeks to six years. Our amazing centre is proudly rated Exceeding, having been transformed into a service that truly reflects the high-quality environment children deserve.
We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and passionate Diploma Qualified Educator who is also willing to support our kitchen operations when required. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and dedicated team while contributing to both the educational program and the overall wellbeing of our children.
You will receive ongoing support from an experienced management team, including an on-site Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor, Assistant Centre Manager, and Educational Leader.
We are participating in the Worker Retention Payment Grant! If successful, you may receive an additional payment on top of your award wage.
The successful applicant will:Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
Possess a genuine passion and commitment to working with children
Be willing to support both the educational program and kitchen operations as required
Have previous kitchen, food preparation, or food handling experience (highly regarded)
Take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education
Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
Express a genuine interest in the Reggio Emilia philosophy
Show a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) where applicable
Hold, or be willing to obtain, relevant food safety certifications
