Client Advisor

About the role

As a Client Advisor, you will be an important part of the CQ Audiology team and often the first point of contact for our clients. You will work closely with our Audiologist to ensure every client receives a friendly, professional and efficient experience from the moment they contact the clinic through to their ongoing hearing care.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome clients and provide exceptional customer service
• Answer telephone calls and respond to client enquiries
• Book, confirm and manage appointments
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Audiologist
• Maintain accurate client records and complete data entry
• Process payments and assist with Medicare, private health and relevant hearing service claims
• Assist with stock management and ordering
• Liaise with clients, medical professionals, suppliers and other healthcare providers
• Assist clients with basic hearing aid enquiries and troubleshooting following training
• Help maintain an organised, professional and welcoming clinic environment

About you

• Previous experience in medical, allied health, reception, administration, customer service or a busy client-facing environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A warm, patient and empathetic approach to clients
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy clinic
• Willingness to learn about hearing aids and assist clients with basic device support
• Ability to work closely with and support the Audiologist
• Experience with Medicare, private health or healthcare claims would be advantageous, but training can be provided
