Somerset Private Hospital opened its doors in August 2021 and due to increased demand we are growing our workforce. The hospital is furnished with the latest technology and equipment to provide specialty services to both adult and paediatric patients. Specialties include Plastics & Reconstructive surgery, Orthopaedics, Endoscopy, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Dental, Gynaecology and Oral & Maxillofacial surgery.

 About the role

We are seeking applications from a dynamic and motivated Scrub & Scout Nurse with a passion for excellence in healthcare to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

 To be successful in your application for this position, you will have: 

·         Exceptional clinical skills 

·         Nursing experience in our key specialties 

·         Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices  

·         The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team  

·         Flexibility to work across different specialties 

·         An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care 

·         Experience in Scrub & Scout nursing. Minimum 1 year experience essential. 

·         Availability to work a range of shifts including afternoon shifts 

 Essential Skills and Qualifications         

·             Registration with AHPRA  

·             Minimum 1 year Scrub & Scout Nurse experience 

·             National Criminal Record Check 

·             Working with Children Check.
