Kecc Pty Ltd is a well-established commercial landscape and civil construction contractor delivering high-quality projects across Sydney. With a strong reputation for excellence, long-standing client relationships and a continually growing pipeline of secured work, we are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our team based in Sydney's Inner West.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced estimator who enjoys working on diverse projects and wants to be part of a supportive, progressive business where your contribution is genuinely valued.

Working closely with senior management, project managers and delivery teams, you will be responsible for preparing competitive tenders and accurate cost estimates for projects ranging from $100,000 to $3.5 million.

We welcome applicants from commercial landscaping, civil construction and infrastructure backgrounds who have proven experience pricing projects involving earthworks, drainage, retaining structures, pavements, streetscapes, public domain works and commercial landscaping.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions.

• Read and interpret civil and landscape construction drawings, specifications and contract documentation.

• Complete detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

• Price earthworks, drainage, pavements, retaining walls, concrete, irrigation, hard landscaping, soft landscaping, civil infrastructure and associated landscape works.

• Prepare construction methodologies and indicative construction programs.

• Obtain, assess and negotiate supplier and subcontractor pricing.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants and clients.

• Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.

• Prepare Expressions of Interest (EOIs).

• Manage tender clarifications, project variations and cost updates.

• Maintain estimating databases, supplier pricing and cost libraries.

• Prepare subcontractor packages and purchase orders.

• Attend client meetings and site inspections.

• Assist with project handover.

• Manage multiple tenders simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Previous estimating experience within civil construction, infrastructure or commercial landscape construction.

• Demonstrated experience pricing civil works. Commercial landscape estimating highly regarded.

• Strong understanding of estimating principles, construction methodologies and cost planning.

• Ability to interpret engineering, civil and landscape drawings.

• Experience completing quantity take-offs.

• Strong commercial awareness.

• Excellent analytical, organisational and negotiation skills.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience using Buildsoft or similar estimating software highly regarded.

• Experience using Bluebeam or similar software advantageous.

• Experience using Procore or similar construction management software highly regarded.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

• White Card.

• Managing the complete tender process.

• Preparing accurate Bills of Quantities.

• Pricing labour, plant, equipment and subcontractor packages.

• Reviewing drawings and specifications.

• Producing accurate and profitable tender submissions.

• Working collaboratively with Project Managers.

• Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.

• Managing multiple tenders while maintaining attention to detail.
