Job Roles / Key Responsibilities

This role is centered on the servicing and repair of pumps, along with general trade assistant duties across our plumbing and mechanical works. It's steady, methodical work — well suited to someone who takes satisfaction in doing a job properly and consistently, rather than someone looking for constant variety.

• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining pumps as your core focus

• Cleaning, flushing, and servicing calorifiers

• Monitoring and checking the correct operation of boilers, plantroom equipment, and hydronic heating systems

• Installing pipe insulation on heating and hot water systems

• Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for daily jobs

• Assisting with basic steel fabrication and welding where required

• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

• Using company software to complete job notes and documentation

About You

This role will suit an experienced tradesperson who values stability over constant change — someone who has "been around the block," takes pride in doing repetitive, precision work well, and is looking to settle into one company for the long term rather than move on every year or two.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Current Driver's Licence

• Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)

• A trade background (Fitter & Turner qualification highly regarded, but strong trade assistant experience will also be considered)

And you:

• Are looking for long-term, secure employment rather than a stepping-stone role

• Own basic hand tools (specialised tools will be provided)

• Have a genuine, proven track record in a trade or trade assistant environment

• Are comfortable with steady, repetitive work and bring consistency and reliability to it
