Retail Manager

Grader Group Pty Ltd Reporting to the The Hills of Rivermakers Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the retail operations, sales performance, stock control and staff management across our three retail outlets, ensuring each site is run efficiently, profitably, and delivers a consistently great customer experience.   Benefits $75,000 - $85,000 per annum plus Superannuation Task & responsibilities Plan, organise and oversee the daily retail operations of the fish & chip kiosk, pizzeria and gelato shop.

Manage stock ordering, storage, wastage and display across all three outlets, and negotiate with suppliers. Monitor sales performance and trading trends, and manage budgets and costs for each outlet. Plan and run promotional and seasonal sales activities across the precinct's peak trading periods.

Recruit, roster, train and supervise retail and food service staff across the three sites. Set and maintain customer service, presentation and food handling standards, and manage staff performance. Ensure each outlet complies with food safety, WHS and consumer protection requirements.

Handle escalated customer queries and complaints, and drive continuous service improvement. Qualification & experience A level of skill commensurate with an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma together with at least one year of relevant experience or at least three years of relevant experience in lieu of qualifications. Proven experience managing multi-site or multi-outlet retail or food retail operations.

Strong stock control, supplier negotiation and budgeting skills. Solid understanding of food safety and WHS requirements in a food retail setting. Strong leadership skills, with experience rostering and supervising retail or hospitality teams.

Experience managing takeaway or quick-service food retail outlets is highly regarded.
