Support Workers – Expression of Interest

BlueRock Healthcare is growing, and we’re looking for passionate Support Workers to join our team across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

We are building our pool of Support Workers for a range of current and upcoming opportunities, supporting participants with complex and diverse needs across disability, mental health, forensic and community settings.

We are particularly interested in hearing from Support Workers who are confident, reliable, compassionate and genuinely passionate about making a difference in the lives of the people they support.

We are interested in Support Workers with experience in areas such as:

• Forensic disability and justice-related support

• Supporting people transitioning from custody, forensic settings or the justice system into the community

• Autism, including Level 2–3 support needs

• Intellectual disability

• Behaviours of concern and complex support needs

• Mental health

• Community access and social participation

• Personal care and daily living support

• Complex or high-support needs

• Working alongside families, carers, Support Coordinators and other professionals

We are particularly interested in students studying Nursing, Allied Health, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Disability, Community Services, Criminology or related fields, as well as experienced Support Workers looking to expand their skills and work with a diverse participant base.

We are actively seeking workers with backgrounds in:

Forensic / Justice

• Forensic disability

• Corrections or custodial environments

• Community corrections

• Justice-to-community transitions

• Supporting people involved with the criminal justice system

• Complex behaviours and risk management

Complex Disability

• Autism

• Intellectual disability

• Behaviours of concern

• Complex communication needs

• High-risk or complex support environments

Mental Health

• Psychosocial disability

• Mental health support

• Dual diagnosis

• Crisis or escalation support

• Trauma-informed practice

We are looking for people who are:

We have opportunities that may include morning routines, community access, ongoing weekly supports, forensic/community-based supports and more, depending on participant needs and your availability.

Some roles may require specific experience, gender preferences, availability or other requirements based on the individual participant and their support needs.
