About The Role

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Theatre Orderly to join our hospital team on a part time basis with a minimum 64 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster.

About Kogarah Private Hospital

Kogarah Private Hospital is a purpose-built day surgery offering specialised surgical services and excellent facilities.

Our hospital has three technologically-advanced operating theatres and provides a variety of specialties including Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental.

Duties And Responsibilities

This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

Provide safe transfer, handling and positioning of patients to and from the operating theatreEnsure theatres are cleaned between surgical casesAssist with stock management and maintain awareness of cost controlEnsure equipment is available as requestedParticipate in quality and safety activities

About You

You have a genuine passion for providing world-class customer service and patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:

Experience in a similar role within a hospital settingKnowledge and understanding of lifting, positioning and transferring techniques using available equipmentExcellent customer service skillsKnowledge of WH&S, quality and infection control principlesAbility to prioritise and coordinate work to meet patient and customer needs
