About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced MR Driver to join our established delivery team. This role involves multi-drop deliveries of steel products to residential construction sites across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
This is a physically demanding role with early starts, regular driving in high-volume traffic, and deliveries to logistically challenging sites. It will suit someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. An immediate start is available for a suitable candidate following a successful interview process.
On-the-job training and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Complete multi-drop deliveries to residential construction sites
Safely load, secure, and unload steel products
Operate vehicles in accordance with road safety and company procedures
Use vehicle-mounted cranes where required
Complete delivery paperwork and communicate with customers and internal teams
Maintain high safety and compliance standards at all times
About you
Current MR Licence
Construction Induction (White Card), or willingness to obtain
Experience in multi-drop delivery work (preferred)
Dogging Licence, or willingness to undertake training
Strong driving history and safety record
Good knowledge of Melbourne and surrounding regions
Experience operating a vehicle-mounted crane (advantageous)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and problem-solve
Solid understanding of safety requirements relating to heavy vehicles, load restraint, and unloading
