Care Assistant - Driver

Location: Vale of Glamorgan

Vale Area: Cowbridge, Llantwit Major, Barry, Penarth, Wenvoe, Sully, Bonvilston

£13.45 per hour | Expert training | Flexible shift patterns

Due to growing demand, we are seeking carers who can provide evening availability on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. However, open to other availability.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

Providing essential personal care and companionshipAssisting with meal prep, shopping, and household tasksSupporting with medication managementEncouraging independence to help customers stay in their own homes

£13.45 per hour £16.00 Per Hour Bank Holidays £20.00 per hour Christmas day, Boxing Day and New years day35p mileage allowance

Requirements

A Full UK driving licence and access to a carTo be living in the local areaThe ability to work alternate weekendsTo commit to working a minimum of one evening shift per weekA kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to careGreat communication skills and the ability to build positive relationshipsAbility to follow care plans Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided. ABI experience is also desirable, but not essential.
