Nurse Next Door is a premium home care service provider that enables people to live a fulfilling life at home for as long as possible, regardless of age or ability. We are dedicated to delivering flexible in-home nursing care options to those in the Aged Care and Disability sector, ranging from 24/7 care to one-hour visits for wound care or diabetes management.
Penrith, Emu Plains, Jamisontown, South Penrith, Werrington County, Kingswood, Glenmore Park, Mulgoa, Jordan Springs, Caddens, Shane Park, Werrington, Erskine Park, St Clair and surrounding suburbs
Registered Nurses - Who can do Overnights are more preferred
Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
Deliver care following the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
Comprehensive health assessment and reviews
Would care management, Catheter care, and continence support
Liaising with multidisciplinary care teams (GPs, allied health, case managers and family members)
Completing accurate, timely documentation and progress notes
Registered Nurse (Division 1), General nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with relevant experience
You will have relevant experience/knowledge in wound care, catheterisation, medication management, diabetes management and manual handling practices
You are a self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility and ownership for your work performance
You are exceptionally well organised, demonstrate impeccable time management skills, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment where you are flexible, adaptable and able to respond easily to last-minute changes or challenges
You will be genuinely compassionate and show passion about making a difference in the lives of those you meet
Be proficient in the use of technology across different software systems and applications.
