About the role

Baseup Sheds is seeking an experienced and skilled Shed Builder to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland.

As a Shed Builder, you will be responsible for the end-to-end construction of high-quality sheds and similar structures, working closely with our clients to bring their visions to life.

This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

What you'll be doing

• Interpreting and following detailed building plans and specifications to construct sheds, garages, workshops, and other structures

• Carrying out all aspects of the construction process, including framing, roofing, cladding, and finishing touches

• Ensuring strict adherence to all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards

• Collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance and advice

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

• Completing projects within agreed timelines and to the highest standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Shed Builder or similar construction role, with experience

• Shed building experience required

• Strong understanding of building techniques, materials, and construction methods

• Ability to read and interpret building plans and technical drawings

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to risk management
