What We Are Looking For

• - A degree in Accounting or Commerce
• - Experience in financial or management accounting
• - Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage priorities to meet operational and strategic goals
• - Strong skills and experience using XL One and Technology One finance modules
• - Strong experience preparing clear, accurate financial reports and commentary for a range of audiences
• - Ability to explain financial information clearly, both verbally and in writing, to non‑financial managers
• - Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver management accounting tasks and projects under time pressure
• - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to recommend improvements to financial performance
• - High attention to detail and accuracy
• - Strong customer service focus, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
• - Commitment to ongoing professional development, including staying up to date with legislation, Office of Local Government requirements, and Council policies
