About the role
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers to support participants with mental health and psychosocial disability, drug recovery, emotional regulation, independent living and daily life skills, and community participation and social connection. This is a rewarding role for someone who values relationship-based support and understands that recovery looks different for everyone.
Key responsibilities
Provide person-centred support in participants' homes and the community
Support recovery goals, emotional wellbeing and independence
Assist with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks and daily routines
Implement positive behaviour support strategies and maintain accurate documentation
Build trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries
About you
Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health or a related field (or currently studying)
Experience supporting people with mental health or addiction (highly regarded)
A calm, resilient and compassionate approach to challenging situations
Current First Aid & CPR
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check
Manual Handling training
Unrestricted South Australian Driver's Licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
