The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Quarry Operator to join our team at our Bacchus Marsh Quarry.

Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor, you will be responsible for safely operating mobile plant equipment, loading customers, supporting production activities, maintaining stockpiles, and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the site.

Hourly Rate: $35.73 per hour plus superannuation and applicable penalties.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate loaders, excavators, graders, and other quarry mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
• Operate a sales loader and load customer trucks.
• Support quarry production and processing operations.
• Assist with stockpile management and material movement.
• Undertake routine plant inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience operating Loaders, Excavators, and Graders.
• Previous experience within a quarry, mining, construction, or similar heavy industry environment.
• Experience operating a Sales Loader.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Experience in sand and pebble washing operations will be highly regarded.
• Experience in mud and clay processing is advantageous.
• Relevant machinery tickets and quarry experience will be highly regarded.
