Storeperson

Our Client, Muve Tech, is a reputable family business specialising in the distribution of high-quality assistive technology and rehabilitation devices. They are currently seeking a capable and upbeat Storeperson to join our small warehouse team on a full time basis.
  
About the role
This is a hands-on role that involves dispatch, product handling, basic assembly, ad-hoc deliveries, and general warehouse upkeep. You do not need to be a logistics expert – we are looking for someone reliable, physically fit, and ready to pitch in. You will be moving boxes, preparing orders, assembling equipment, keeping the space organised, and ensuring things flow smoothly. A bit of common sense and a can-do attitude are more important to us than a perfect resume.
  
We work with mobility, rehab and wellness products – including Alber, THERA-Trainer, and Pilates equipment. Some light assembly and occasional minor repairs are part of the day-to-day. Training will be provided. You will also liaise with couriers and occasionally assist with customer pickups and drop-offs, so a friendly and social nature is a plus.
  
For candidates with a more technical interest, there is also an opportunity to develop into a more specialised role over time. This would involve learning under an experienced team member, with a view to taking on increased responsibility for technical repairs and product support in the future.
  
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:  

• Picking and packing orders with care
• Preparing dispatch paperwork and coordinating courier pickups
• Assembling products (e.g. Pilates equipment) and getting them delivery-ready
• Handling deliveries and moving stock (boxes and equipment – physical fitness is a must)
• Tidying and maintaining the warehouse space
• Supporting general warehouse tasks as needed
• Doing simple repairs or adjustments to equipment (nothing technical – just a willingness to give it a go)

About you

• Someone dependable, practical, and physically fit
• A positive attitude – social and easy to work with
• Drivers license
• Forklift license
• Basic handiness with tools or assembly is helpful (but not essential)
• Previous warehouse or dispatch experience is a bonus, but not required
• Must be comfortable lifting and moving boxes throughout the day
• Takes pride in keeping things tidy, organised and running on time
